盐雾试验指用盐雾试验设备所创造的人工模拟盐雾环境条件来考核产品或金属材料耐腐蚀性能的环境试验。是一种主要利用盐雾试验设备所创造的人工模拟盐雾环境条件来考核产品或金属材料耐腐蚀性能的环境试验。盐雾试验加速性好，但模拟性较差，因此盐雾试验方法仅作为一种人工加速腐蚀试验方法，对金属材料进行评价和选材时比较适用。

盐雾试验（http://www.rd-test.com/projectinfo-37.html）包括以下三种：中性盐雾试验（NSS）、酸性盐雾试验（AASS）、铜加速酸性盐雾试验（CASS）。
