LS162A Transmission Meter is special for film, WINOOW tint, filmed glass and side windshield test, it’s a small size, portable product for transmission value measurement. It’s able to simultaneously measure and display UV, Visible and Infrared transmission values.

3: Operation

3.1 Switch on:

l When power off, press the “ON/Hold” key to power on.

3.2  Switch off:

l press “ON/Hold” key and hold for more than 3 seconds, LS162A will be switched off.

3.3  Auto off:

l No any operation for 3 minutes, and then LS162A will switch off automatically.

3.4  Keys operation:

In the power ON state, the short key operation has two states, "measure" and "hold”

l Short press key at "Measure" states, enter into “Hold” .

l Short press key at "Hold" states, enter into “Measure” .

3.5  Measure Process

When VL, UV, IR transmission value all display as 100%, insert the testing sample into the slot, make sure keep the sample stable, now the test results show on the LCD, then press“ON/Hold”key, keep the test data(“HOLD” symbol will be displayed on the left-upper corner) easily to read. Testing sample can be token off at "Hold" states, the display data won’t be changed. Cancel "Hold" states for back to “Measure” states.

4. Simple operation, rapid measurement, putting the testing sample in the “OPENING”, UV, VL and IR transmission values of the sample will simultaneously display immediately.

5. Suitable for measure film, filmed glass, WINOOW tint, side windshield etc. Test for performance demonstrate, production, QA, inspection and so on many occasions;

5: Use steps and Notes

1. When the instrument is self test and self calibration, the testing slot must be empty, otherwise it can not complete the self calibration.

2. Avoid contact with corrosive substances, far from high temperature and humidity environment.

3. When there is no testing  material, may occur the display data can not return to 100%, after power off and power on immediately, can be used

4. When power on and there is object in the testing slot,  will enter into the debug interface, power off and remove the object, then turn on will be fine.

5. Please remove the batteries while long time (if a few months) no in use, 

6. While battery symbol  display as empty and flashing, please replace the batteries.

7. If battery power shortage, can't  return to 100% will be happened, test data won't be accurate, have to replace batteries.
