湿法短切丝或称水拉丝是由连续纤维纱线下短切而成，它是生产湿法薄毡的原材料和增强石膏。
Wet  chopped  strands  are  produced  from  continuous  filament  strands  and  are  used  as  raw  materials  for  fiberglass  paper  and  reinforced  gypsum  .  It  is  suitable  for  UP  and  Gypsum  .Products  produced  include  wet-laid  mat  which  have  found  wide  use  in  building  materials,  petrochemical  industry,  light  industry  and  in  electrical  applications.  The  main  applications  are  battery  separators,  asphalt  felts,  gypsum  board  ,  etc.
